I suppose we all have preconceived ideas and emotions when it comes to planning a wedding, especially when it’s yours. Your list should vary: it can be more specific as far as linens, cutlery, china etc; and it can be more generalized when it comes to hobby-type, sports-type, fun stuff. You can get a registry at a novelty type store so if a friend checks it out they will get a “surprise me” response. If they know you well enough, you should be delighted with their choice. Also, with the ease and wider range of gifts selections on-line, it would be very smart to choose stores that accommodate on-line registries.
