There are foods to eat that can help improve your skin elasticity as you age and help improve your skin health. Unfortunately though improving aging skin and preventing loss of skin elasticity isn’t as easy as simply eating a couple of foods. There’s no doubt at all that what you eat directly affects the condition of your skin and how well it ages. Eating a good diet rich in anti oxidants and vitamins and minerals is essential to optimum skin health and the look and feel of your skin. A healthy diet is good for general health and skin health. So the advice you see everywhere about diet is as important for your skin as for your body. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, reduce fat, especially saturated fat, reduce salt and sugar intake and make sure you do this permanently. But there are many people who think that there are miracle foods that help improve skin elasticity in aging skin and which help slow the skin aging process. And to some extent that’s true. But actually producing the result you want, namely to improve your skin health and the looks of your skin simply by eating isn’t as easy as you might expect. Lets look at 2 examples of foods that help improve skin elasticity in aging skin. 1. Omega 3 is one of the fats that you don’t want to reduce in your diet. I’m sure you’ve heard of omega 3, it’s a fatty acid found in some foods, but particularly oily fish, and it’s very good for your heart health and has some other general health benefits. But you may not know that it’s also very good for your skin. A diet high in omega 3 fats is well worth it, for your overall health as well as your skin health. However it is quite difficult to ensure adequate levels of omega 3 in your diet unless you regularly eat large quantities of oily fish. In some cultures this happens all the time. But in ours the right types of fish isn’t a huge part of our diet, and is very expensive. 2. Next comes phytessence wakame, a seaweed. You can eat it, although it may not sound quite as appetizing as it could. But the Japanese have eaten phytessence wakame for centuries, dried and fresh, and it is a big part of the Japanese diet. And Japanese women have wonderful skin right into old age, and science has traced this to the ingredients in the phytessence wakame that they eat. There’s a whole stack of reasons why phytessence wakame is good for your skin. I’ve written about it on my website and won’t reproduce it here or it will be too long, but it’s science has discovered a wide range of ingredients in phytessence wakame that improve skin elasticity and skin health. That’s 2 foods that help improve skin elasticity in aging skin and there’s more, but I’m leading up to a point here. So there’s no doubt that eating a generally healthy diet is very good for your skin right through life, but actually finding specific foods that help improve skin health and things like skin elasticity isn’t easy. And sometimes, although the ingredients of some foods are good for your skin, they can be better applied topically, or direct to your skin, rather than eaten. So if you want to improve your skin elasticity and want to do so naturally how do you do so? And I should say that improving skin elasticity is one of the best ways to fight skin wrinkles. The best thing you can do to improve skin elasticity using natural products is to use natural skin care products that have been formulated using these ingredients, and more. Most big brand skin care products tend to contain chemical ingredients manufactured in a lab, usually as these are much cheaper than natural ingredients. But its quite possible to get skin care products with the ingredients mentioned above, and lots more. That way you dont need to try and find seaweed to eat, or spend your time eating oily fish. Its really way too hard trying to combat skin wrinkles or loss of skin elasticity by eating specific foods. Certainly focus on eating a healthy diet, but everyone ought to do that anyway. If you’re really concerned about improving your skin elasticity into your older age, and you should be, you need to eat well and use the best natural skin care products containing all these natural ingredients that science has found that are so useful to your skin health.
