Comparison Of Massage Chairs: Manual Recline Versus Power Recline

Scentsy | Flameless Candles | Wickless Candles

There are many decisions to make regarding purchasing a massage chair. However, if you have limited mobility or foresee this in the future, then an important decision is your choice of powered or manual recline. The recline feature can either be powered for both the chair back and the leg rest. We will take a look at the pluses and minuses of either system.

Many of us are familiar with the manual recline of a typical recliner. There may be a lever to raise up the leg rest using a series of springs or an air cylinder. A lever may also be used to recline the chair back.

Power recline: a power recline is most commonly found in the midrange to high-end luxury massage chairs. Powerful motors are used to lower the chair back or to raise the leg rest. Normally, a button on the remote control is used to activate the motor to position it in the desired angle.

The first thing to consider is your mobility now and in the future. If you think your mobility may be impaired, then it may be wise to go with a powered recliner. Keep in mind that a manual system requires you to either raise your body to recline the chair upright.

Be sure to check out where the levers are located on the recliner. Some manufacturers put them in odd places which are not ergonomic. It is important that the lever is readily available if you should need to get out of the chair.

There are manual levers which need to be accessed. Be sure you can find the levers easily. Make sure you try the chair in different positions and that it is easy to access the levers. Sometimes you may be able to access one lever but not the other.

If you are looking for the ultimate in luxury, then go for the fully powered recliner. This enables you to easily find a comfortable position with great ease. There are up and down buttons located on the remote control making access easy as well.

You also find that massage chairs can have a manual leg rest and a powered chair back recline. There are models which have one powered. Again, you need to some manufacturers if the chair is manual or is a powered chair back. This enables you to adjust the chair back from the remote control. There is then used to raise the leg rest.

Both of these systems are very reliable and commonly used. The lever system has been in existence for over 50 years. The motorized systems have been around for about 20 years. However, both of these systems are fairly reliable and should work trouble-free for many years.

Although, this may seem like a fairly simple feature, it is important to consider depending on your mobility now in the future. You may find that the manual system is cheaper but you must consider the long run and your current state of mobility.

Most massage chair manufacturers offer powered recline on their higher end chairs and a combination of power and manual on their lower or midrange chairs. For this reason, it is important to make sure that the levers are easily accessible for your needs. Research your massage chair and if possible try it out before you buy. This will help you find out which system is best for your needs.

One of the more important features is a Manual Massage Chair or a Powered Massage Chair? Many factors may influence this determination. You can find many effective massage chairs that have manual controls. On the other hand, a powered massaging lounger provides you with the ultimate luxury.

Essential oils are oils that are extracted from plants. These oils are also known as plant oils. There are many different types of essential oils from different plants. The names of the oils are derived from the plant from which they are extracted. For example, Helichrysum Oils are oils which are extracted from Helichrysum plant, Juniper Berry are oils which are extracted from dried Berries among many other types of oils. There are numerous ways to use essential oils. Essential oils uses include many different uses.

When a person is working towards reducing fat in the body, the first thing he or she needs to do is get over the cravings. Chocolates, sweets, biscuits, ice creams are the culprits and increase the calories in ones body. Sweet cravings can make a person go against his dieting rules and eat the food to get satisfaction. But then guilt feeling follows. This is where essential oils can help. Essential oils of chocolate flavor, sweet smelling oils, green apples, helichrysum oil, peppermint and even banana flavor can be used in reducing the cravings of a person for sweet food. These oils are rubbed on skin or used in steam baths and cravings can be reduced.

Essential oils are safe and thus not harmful to the body. The essential oils uses are therefore safe and reliable. However, while shopping for essential oils one has to consider a number of factors. The first factor one has to consider is the essential oils uses. This simply means one has to consider what they want to use the oils for. The second thing that one has to consider is the side effects of the particular essential oils one is using. The other factor that one has to consider is the benefits of using essential oils as compared to other products.

These can be done in several ways; first is through aromatherapy massage which has been most effective use of essential oils. The oils are blended in massage base oils and by application on the body being absorbed and diffused in to the body leading to relaxation and healing. Second is in bath or shower where the oils are added to the water or on the body evenly where its then used as a natural disinfectant. Through application on the skin, essential oils are absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream due to the chemical structure of the oils for the benefit of the body.

Essential oil uses are numerous in number since they are used in many different ways and their benefits are great. Caution should be taken before using any of these oils, one should get advice from experts before taking any aromatherapy for the best results.

The Research-Supported Stress-Relieving Actions Of Three Widely Used Essential Oils

Scientific data affirming the healing use of oils used in aromatherapy practice is being released virtually every day. One will discover these publications through websites such as pubmed.gov, that compile all the latest biological scientific abstracts printed in peer-reviewed periodicals. A great many scientific investigators have concluded that the behavioral-changing actions of essential oils are often strong enough, and reliable enough, to secure their recommendation as complementary medicines as plant-based anxiolytics.

The most recognized aromatherapy oils in terms of investigation performed on their anxiety-related effects are the essential oils of lavender flowers, bergamot, and Indian sandalwood. Each of these aromatherapy oils has been the focus of numerous controlled scientific inquiries. The results of each is distinct, at the same time they’ve all shown significant results regarding their anxiety-related activity.

Everyone involved in natural medicine knows about the oil of lavender flowers. It is the most frequently employed essential oil, with an amazing number of healing actions. Lavender essential oil, by a significant amount, has the greatest amount of investigation affirming the oil’s anxiety-reducing outcomes.

Interestingly, the oil’s physiological results are similar to its emotional properties. Lavender is both calming and soothing for the skin, like it is relaxing to the stressed-out mind. Of these three oils discussed, lavender essential oil has the most sedative effects. Lavender improves sleep, limits aggression, and reduces anxiety.

Sandalwood, distilled from the heartwood of the tree, has properties similar to lavender oil, though not exactly the same. Sandalwood essential oil is a stress reliever, while not sedating. Lavender essential oil in fact slows the mind and actions, though sandalwood oil doesn’t. In one study, participants inhaling sandalwood oil noted a feeling of increased clarity and calm. A separate study showed breathing in sandalwood oil bettered participants sleep patterns, creating far better rest.

Bergamot oil is the most popular depression-lifting oil, most frequently being employed with methods releasing its bright aroma, rather than topical application or ingestion. Research of high school aged participants donning aroma-releasing necklaces demonstrated a substantial reduction of both anxiety and depression over the participants wearing the same devices, but unscented. The oil pressed from the Bergamot fruit is also well known to reduce the perceived degree of pain. Unlike the other oils it is not a sedative or an oil that improves sleep, but instead a stimulant, though it can secondarily support rest with a more positive emotional condition.

The question is frequently asked by beginning aromatherapy practitioners: “which aromatherapy oil should I use as an anti-depressant or anxiety”? These oils noted here are a good place to begin. The user needs to be willing to experiment to see what works best.. Acquire bottle of each oil and check out how you respond to their aromas. One has to appreciate the scent for you to use an oil for these purposes. Lavender oil has been more liked by women, and sandalwood essential oil is regarded as a more masculine aroma. Yet this definitely shouldn’t limit either gender from experimenting with each aromatic oils.

Aroma-therapeutics is an entire branch of botanical medicine. Uncover more about the unique properties of pure single oils as cardamom essential oil and Roman chamomile essential oil.

Premenopause is the period of time where women go through physical changes leading up to Menopause. This can last as little as a few years and as long as ten. Premenopausal symptoms start to show while the estrogen and progesterone a woman produces stops.

Most women start to go through the process around the age of 51. Individuals as young as 30 and as old as 55 are subject to premenopause. Going through the changes at 30 is less likely to happen, than to have a later onset of the symptoms. When looking for signs that the body is going through his process; a woman should look for 8 different signs.

A change in a woman’s period is the most common symptom. This can be different for each woman. Changes in periods, hot flashes, and emotional changes among other things can occur. There can also be changed in weight, and memory as well as skin issues can occur.

While every woman goes through changes in regards to their period, it is different in each case. Periods will stop occurring on a regular basis and become lighter in flow. If the bleeding becomes uncomfortable or heavier, an OBGYN should be consulted. Hot flashes usually accompany the changing periods, and cause uncomfortable changes in body temperature. Some women only have these for a short while and some can have them for years.

During premenopause, hormones are constantly changing. This causes emotions to fluctuate and stress to occur. Due to the losing the ability to bear children, many women suffer from depression and anger issues while the changes in their body are taking place. If any of these feelings become to much to handle or linger for an extended amount of time; a doctor should be seen.

While all these changes can be a pain to deal with, they are a part of life. They signify starting a new phase in life. Any symptoms that are troublesome can be managed with the help of a doctor. There are also many homeopathic remedies that help to alleviate symptoms.

Natural Medicine Ideas: Five Essential Oils for Healthy Children

Monday, July 11th, 2011
Scentsy | Flameless Candles | Wickless Candles

Busy parents are always on the lookout for natural, effective alternatives to support their children’s health and happiness. Invoking gentle calm in an otherwise hectic family life is especially appreciated. Essential oils can offer this support in a fun, safe and natural way. A few essential oils are particularly suitable for use with young ones, both for bringing soothing emotional calm and contentment healing the small wounds of childhood - here’s a quick primer to help you safely and effectively use five valuable essential oils with children.

There are two primary methods of using oils with little ones: Topically by massage or application to childhood injuries to soothe wounds and prevent infection). Next, there’s inhalation, really in any way that’s convenient. From a diffuser, warm bath, or also through massage. The most significant difference in using aromatherapy with children is that you’ll just need less oil. One needs to know the few oils that should not be used with children: peppermint is thought too powerful for the wee ones under two (spearmint is called for instead, which can be helpful with tummy trouble). Consult a reputable guidebook if you are unsure about a particular oil.

Also, the younger the child, the more dilute the concentration of essential oils should be in a formula, bath, or inhalation application. Massage formulas, for example, can contain approximately 1 drop essential oil per ounce of carrier oil for each year of age - this is flexible depending on the oil and the situation, within a range of 3 drops for each year (i.e. For children one and under, up to 4 drops can be used with gentle oils such as Vanilla, Lavender and Chamomile - use only 1 or two drops with newborns). The child’s weight can also be considered; if a child is larger for their age, a little more essential oil can be used. If using a diffuser, only enough oil so that the scent can be detected is necessary - nebulizing diffusers may output too high a concentration of oils for children; warming or humidifying diffusers are more appropriate. The oils we’ll look at here are all quite safe and can be used as often as feels appropriate; Tea Tree, though, should be reserved just for its potent antiseptic applications.

By now you might be wondering “which oils should I be using?” We’ll start with vanilla…Everyone loves vanilla, right? It turns out that babies especially respond well to the comforting sweet aroma. While a good vanilla essential oil is a little expensive, only a very small amount is needed to create an exceptionally soothing massage oil for belly, back and foot rubs. Vanilla, being so gentle, can be used in concentrations of up to 1% (that’s 10 drops per ounce of carrier). Really all that’s needed is a hint of the aroma for it to work wonders. I’ve received reports of children being instantly calmed by a gentle vanilla massage, then immediately asking for more!

Next up is Chamomile. There are several varieties of Chamomile, with an array of uses. German Chamomile is an exceptional oil for skin inflammation and rashes, applied in a 1/2 to 1 percent dilution in Hazelnut oil. Roman Chamomile is premier oil calming little ones over two years of age. The oil may be used in a number of ways; aromatherapy massage, in a diffuser or room spray (with this and other oils, dilute 10 drops per cup of water in a clean spray bottle - shake well and lightly mist the air), a drop or two sprinkled on bedding, or in a bath. According to Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt in Advanced Aromatherapy, “Even in very small concentrations, whether alone or in combinations with other oils (Roman Chamomile) has a soothing effect…it is appropriate to massage a few undiluted drops into the solar plexus.” It is noted as particularly suited to calming tantrums or bringing calm after nightmares.

Lavender essential oil is also highly regarded for its soothing qualities, along with a host of other healing actions. Lavender oil has been called ‘a medicine chest in a bottle’, as it is anti-inflammatory (good for small burns - apply directly as needed), relieves pain and supports wound healing. Clinical studies have proven Lavender oil’s effectiveness for improving sleep. For children, blend 2 to 1 with Roman Chamomile. Apply one drop of this blend to the pillow at nap or night time. Lavender works well in a bath, too. Additionally, Lavender can be mixed in equal parts with Tea Tree oil to add a soothing quality to Tea Tree’s antiseptic action. Really, every parent should have a bottle of Lavender on hand.

When sour moods are in need of a lift, citrus oils supply the aromas of choice. Tangerine and Sweet Orange are especially liked, and Mandarin has a certain calming effect not found in any other oil. Citrus oils are often cold-pressed from the peels of the fruit; these can be mildly irritating to the skin. Stick to using these in room sprays or diffusers. Steam distilled citrus oils, often made from the leaves or flowers of the citrus trees (like Neroli, Petitgrain, or Mandarin Petitgrain - an especially nice oil for young ones) can safely be used in topical applications like massages and baths. All these oils are known as antidepressants, and might just lift your mood as well as your child’s (not to terrible of a side effect!)

Tea Tree essential oil is highly regarded as a natural antiseptic for cuts and scrapes. Once a wound is washed, it may be covered with a Band-Aid which has a drop of Tea Tree placed on the gauze. Tea Tree may be a bit strong to apply directly to the injury, though when mixed with equal parts of Lavender, Tea Tree will prevent infection while the Lavender will relieve pain and actually speed wound healing. A few drops of the Tea Tree/Lavender mixture can be added to a warm cup of water to use as a cleansing wash. An effective, home made antiseptic spray can also be made: use 2 ounces water, 1/2 half ounce rubbing alcohol, 8 drops Lavender, 12 drops Tea Tree and 8 drops Roman Chamomile. Shake vigorously and store, shaking again before each use. Tea Tree is considered a ‘universal antiseptic’, with a great many more uses in first aid and around the home.

This is just a start at incorporating the magic of essential oils into your children’s lives. Safe, natural and effective means of supporting their health and wellness is always welcome. There are a great many more oils, many with profound healing effects. Particularly with children, start slowly - your nose might tell you when you’ve had just the right amount of aromatherapy, but children may not be able to express this. And where one child may not respond particularly to a certain oil, another will be entranced by the same aroma. There are many wonderful books available for the beginning aromatherapist with oodles of oil descriptions and recipes. Experiment, be creative and have fun!

How Does Low Thyroid Levels Relate To Police Cars?

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011
Scentsy | Flameless Candles | Wickless Candles

Hormones evoke maleness and femaleness. Few appreciate that the power of your body is regulated by Thyroid. The rate of burning energy is only driven by thyroid. The synchronization of each gland and process is a function of speeds. This means one lever should run the system. And it does. That lever is Thyroid hormone. Understand? Now when you start to lag down and you are generally not up to full stroke and full power, you will demand accurate investigation and management of your Thyroid.

Now that major public-made-cheap-shot-diagnosis hypochondriacs, can’t get warm, have sluggish, brain fog, moods all over the place, vague pains in all joints and stiffness. “Can you check my husband?” was a frequent request. (not many would come in) But you know thyroid was at the top of my list. Now the puffiness, the messed up periods, PMS, and the bones not laying down calcium like they used to. ( Lets see that is a metabolic process. Wake up bones can and do frequently fail to replace their calcium due to low metabolism. NOT LACK OF ESTROGEN, CALCIUM AND PROGESTERONE. Speaking of other sloppy diagnosis, did you get a thyroid level before being put on Cholesterol diets and drugs. Your cholesterol goes up due to Low Thyroid Levels. Before the roll you off to a nursing home, put it in your best friends “requests if anything happens to me” PLEASE GET ME A GOOD THYROID WORK UP. And all the rest of you whispering about dads memory.. get a good check up on his thyroid. Not just a TSH. See my videos and other blogs. Get your doctor to read one of them. There are books about the Hypothyroid epidemic. Is this starting to sound important to you?

Don’t let this happen to the young adults in your family. They gain weight and become sluggish around 30. This is thought to be early aging. Not in non-Western societies. This the vigor of their life. They stay young till their late 60’s and work past 100. Not in the Fluoride water, chlorine and bromine soaked Western countries. Here they are in early age. Balding and hair loss. Puffiness and obesity. You think it is just aging? Try getting a good thyroid work up. Now this means a history and physical and a review of 10 days of early morning temps as well as reflexes and then a TSH thrown in. Just the test and you just might have bought the farm.

Remember I have told you your Thyroid gland is going to make about a couple of Tablespoons of thyroid in a year? Well that has to be protected. The hormone must not end up in the wrong places. It must not just float around. So in the body’s divine wisdom, the Thyroid hormones are of two kinds. One is blood-traveling-inactive thyroid. The other is Cell-activated-and active thyroid. So, If how you feel is so tied to the cell level of thyroid, how dare we assume that a blood test is accurate? Well the process is accurate, but measure blood levels of a protected inactive thyroid and claim it is indicative of what is going on in the cell? Am I missing something? Does it take a rocket scientist to get to not trust the TSH (the blood test) to tell you everything you really need to know?

So looking at the less-than ideal assumption that a blood test will really diagnose low thyroid I think you can see you are in deep trouble. Deep trouble. So lets see? The cells are low on thyroid. They will be dry. They will be cool , they will be pale. The hair? How can it grow out? The eyebrows give me the diagnosis many times. They are thin on the outer 1/3rd. Your liver is slow so your cholesterol will be up. You will be dull and short on patients because your brain just doesn’t work. Look to the body functions. You have no choice.

This test was tied to many many long and exact body metabolism tests. I was called a Basal Metabolism test. It is and was the best way to diagnosis low thyroid by lab test. You don’ have enough thyroid to burn optimum energy. So that was measurable and you got thyroid replacement. Then you went on your merry way. Not now. Few doctors wanted to spend the time and the tedious way of measuring the thyroid activity. So they “found the test was questionable” and went for a long line of blood tests which were all failures. The main doctor that did so much work was Dr Broda Barnes. He found that the morning temp correlated very well in at least a thousand cases and tried to teach patients and doctors to use the morning temp test. Well … was it too simple.. too unscientific. It worked for my patients and I saw patients for 20plus years. Take your temp the first 10 min you are awake. Get a thermometer called a Geri-therm. Ladies having periods start on day 3 and temp test for 10 days. Average that and take it off to a doctor who knows about this test. See my other blogs and videos for other workable ways of testing.

When the protected thyroid of the blood enters the cell it must be activated by removing an Iodine from the molecule. Now it can go to work making you feel great. Not so fast there. Check my other blogs to learn of the accumulated dose of Fluoride that neuters the arriving thyroid. Now figure in the bromine that is of no use to the body but is in everything. It is most likely stuck to the arriving thyroid and renders it unusable. Now consider stress. If you are under stress your thyroid turns down. Know anyone who isn’t under stress? Now pesticides interfere with the workings of the cell and further inhibit the formulation of good active cell thyroid. As you can see there are a lot of predators keeping you from having a good active cell thyroid level. Does this start to worry you yet? I hope so. Know anyway out of it? Move away? Where? Read my blogs and see the videos for answers to the body’s cry for thyroid. Don’t settle for the “blood test was fine”

You have other toxins dragging you down. We eat herbicides. They are shown to accumulate. They drag down the motors that process the blood thyroid to become active cell thyroid. How helpful do you imagine the mercury in you teeth is to the cells working through out your body. Go ahead search the web for Mercury. Then you will see why one blood test means very little if the conversions systems are semi poisoned by the toxins we eat breathe and drink. Better not trust the single channel TSH test to discover your next 30 years of misery if you don’t figure it out.

Now do you believe me that your thyroid level is not very helpful? If it has found you, the TSH test, I bet you could have been found 15 years sooner. Just the knowing that and living in the Western world would have put you and your doctor on a path of “watching your thyroid”. Oh yes a grain of thyroid was tried more times than is known to see if you felt better by our older “less scientific” caring doctors. But now, today’s “scientific doctor” would not do such a thing. Instead he depends on a cripple of a lab test to treat you or dismiss you to four other specialists. You had better know this and remember this.

Review About The Osim Model U Comfort Massage Chair

Sunday, July 3rd, 2011
Scentsy | Flameless Candles | Wickless Candles

I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen those massage chairs in the mall. Honestly, I’ve always wanted to go and try it. I’ve walked by many times, seen people with smiles on their faces and their eyes closed. Not bad for being in the middle of a public place. The other day I was passing by and saw one of those stores and it had an opening in one of the massage chairs. I knew then and there that this was my opportunity. I had to make my way and get in front of this kid who was b-lining to the same chair. I made my move into the Osim uComfort massage chair.

Getting to the chair, I realized I had to cut back and over the leg rest. I went for it and landed squarely. Now that I was in the chair, I just needed to figure out how to get it all going. I noticed that there was a remote control which was hardwired to the massage chair.

With the remote control in my hand, I selected one of the automatic full body massage programs. This started the recliner into action. I felt a bunch of different things happening across my whole body.

As the chair sprung into life, I could feel a lot of things happening to different parts of my body. My butt got squeezed. I felt movement going down my spine slowly. My lower legs were being compressed.

Something was moving slowly down my back. This didn’t have much effect on me. I thought that would start massaging. Once it made its pass, then it started some massaging action.

As the thing was going up and down my back, the lower half of my body was being fully massage. I felt good sensations as compression massage was applied to my buttocks, thighs and calves. This was starting to feel soothing and relaxing.

Next, the rollers in the back started to make some massage movements. The program started working my shoulders down to my lower back. Different massage movements like rapid tapping and soft kneading interchanged up and down my back.

As I’m sitting there, I just wasn’t quite satisfied. My legs didn’t feel comfortable and I thought that the chair could recline. I reached for the remote. My question had been answered.

I identified what looked like the chair back recline. I pushed the button and away it went. I was starting to recline backwards and realized my legs weren’t following.

As I was descending backward with the power recline in the chair back, I noticed my legs were still standing still. I again went for the remote control. I found the leg rest up button and pushed it firmly.

I soon bottomed out with the chair back recline and was fully level. My legs were still climbing ever upward. Of course, all this was occurring while getting my full body massage. This position was starting to become more comfortable.

I have to say that the lower part of the massage chair was more effective than the upper part of the chair. My legs were being squeezed firmly providing relief. The thighs and buttocks were being worked over. My back just wasn’t feeling it. I tried another of the full body programs.

Switching programs just kind of did more of the same. There was a third program and I went for it. Momentarily, it changed the patterns of movement on my back. But yet even this third program did not really feel like it was massaging strongly my back. I looked around and saw that I was in the Osim uComfort massage chair.

Having just realized that maybe the Osim uComfort massage chair is not for me, I pressed the off button. The recliner began moving in different ways. The chair back sprung upward and the leg rest downward. As I returned to the upright position, I noticed another empty Osim massage chair. Not losing the momentum of returning upright I sprung forward toward the empty Osim massage chair.

Why not try an Osim Massage Chair next time you are looking for something to do in the mall. If you enjoyed this uComfort Massage Chair Review, then check out many others. Our fiercely independent expert authors give you the inside view of massage chair recliners. Browse by brand or by model.

Product Review Of The Osim Model I Symphonic Massage Chair Recliner

Scentsy | Flameless Candles | Wickless Candles

Osim massage chair is a distributor based out of Singapore. They brand different massage chairs which are manufactured by third parties. One of their main points of distribution is with Brookstone. Brookstone has many innovative products and features some of the Osim massage chair line.

Some people get confused that massage chairs are made by one company and branded by another. This is fairly common as the technology is fairly specific. Osim is a company that does this and also companies like Sanyo use other ones to produce them.

There are a few interesting electronic features in this recliner. Sensors are used to accurately measure you before a massage. This is done in order to find the correct shiatsu pressure points.

also a synchronized function. This enables you to listen to your favorite music while the chair is synchronized to the tempo of the music.

A synchronized music system works by adjusting the movements to the tempo of the music. Different parts of the chair like the rollers will respond to the music being played. This gives you a unique sensation as the music and massage work in tandem.

Automatic massage programs are preset programs in the recliner. There are a total of five automatic healthcare programs in the Osim iSymphonic recliner. These programs are set for 15 minutes.

This recliner gives you access to many different features via their remote control. Automatic massage programs last 15 minutes. You can also set manual massage modes and target specific areas.

One of the fun features of a massage chair is its motorized recline. This recliner can be set back 170. This is almost horizontal as 180 is completely flat. The easy-to-use remote allows you to adjust the chair back or the leg rest up to your convenience.

This massage recliner comes with an air compression massage system. Specially contoured airbags are used in the leg rest and for the seat. These airbags inflate and deflate to give you a soothing compression style massage.

I am a big fan of music therapy. Music helps you to relax. It is a good way to distract your mind from its troubles. Most massage therapist use soft rhythmic music to provide for their treatments. This massage chair comes with a good music therapy.

This massage chair is a decent one for the price. I don’t think I would take this one over some of its rivals. I find some great technology being put out by Panasonic, Sanyo and Omega. The difference between these companies is the full therapeutic treatment that you receive in one of their recliners.

The massage in the back could be a little stronger. I am a fan of deeper tissue massage and prefer that my massage chair is strong. This massage seemed a little weaker even when I removed the back cover. I reclined the chair back far but did not feel penetration to thoroughly relieve my stiffness.

The features I like on this massage chair are the music and the synchronization function. I thought the back of massage was weak and superficial. I do not think that this massage chair would be good for my long-term needs. I prefer a massage which is stronger on the back as that’s where most of my tension resides. Those are my opinions about my testing of the Osim iSymphonic massage chair.
