The economy is making it difficult for people to purchase the items needed let alone items that luxury and not must have products. I was one of those customers moaning and groaning as the person in front of me sorted through coupons looking for one valid for each item in their cart. That was before I heard the savings of a customer in front of me one day. The lady had just saved almost seventy dollars on her purchases. I broke down and ask how she managed to save that much money. I knew she had coupons, I just was not aware of the type. She told me the best ones she had were the buy one get one free coupons. My total purchase was tremendously higher than the customer in front of me and she had triple the amount of items as I did. Frustrated and curious I made it my vow to go home and research this coupon using thing so I also could save money on groceries. I found coupons for things I never dreamed would have a discount available. As a kid my mom spent half of every Sunday cutting coupons from the paper, but I had no clue just how much money she was saving by spending our Sunday cutting coupons. I though what a better way to start than how mom did it, so I sat down with my paper and began cutting coupons for restaurants, car care and even a pack of diapers I could buy for my grandson. There was one for the spa close to my house. I have always wanted to spend the day there being pampered but reality would set in and I knew money would prevent from it. The coupon stated bring a friend and receive a free massage with a manicure and pedicure purchase. The heavens open up and I called my sister. We spent three luxurious hours being pampered for thirty dollars each. I am now a believer in coupons. It is possible to find a coupon valid for anything at any time. The hard part is deciding which ones will be used. If you eat out several times a week, there are coupons available to save you hundreds of dollars a year on pizza, burgers and specialty restaurants. It is important to read the restrictions of coupons used for restaurants prior to trying to use them. Some will require a specific food item or only a one topping pizza, however, there are some that are buy one meal and get another one free. Coupons will vary in their amount as well. Some will offer a certain percentage off a total price or you must buy a specific product in order to get a discount on a different product. If you find a coupon for fifty cents off of a bag of bagels when you purchase a specific brand of tofu, however, you do not eat tofu; it would not be worth using the coupon. Saving fifty cents is nice but not if you have to spend five dollars on tofu that will be thrown out. Gathering coupons is work, however, it is work that will pay off each time you use them. If you are unsure of how to begin using coupons, start small with cutting them out of the Sunday paper. There are numerous sites online that offer coupons for specific items you use and you could have the coupons sent to your email daily. Coupons will make a big dent in the final cost at the cash register. You have to be dedicated to finding them and using them. Store ads will often times offer buy one get one free coupon for weekly items so check the store ads as well as the newspaper and online. Verizon promo code will help you pay the bills because they offer money back when you sign up for their service. Go, and save some money now. |

Save Money While Buying Clothes

Buying clothes may make a huge dent in your savings but it doesn’t have to be that way. I’ve been paying less for clothing for years and now I’m going to share with you some secrets that helps me save money on clothes every time. My wife loves TJ Maxx and there’s a good reason for it. The clothes are new and they are just cheaper. The products aren’t the latest fashion but man are they inexpensive. No wonder there’s always a huge lineup to pay. Many stores have a side division that sells oversupplied inventories and unsold merchandise. Sakes 5th Avenue, Nordstrom all have its own division and prices are really cheap there. Going to outlet malls is like a dream trip for some because so many stores with discounts are at the same location. Parking may be difficult during holidays but the savings are huge. You can also always wait for sales. Every year (usually around the same times and around holidays), clothing stores go on a huge discount. If you can wait, this could mean significant savings. Different countries have different pricing standards. I know it sounds outrageous but some of my friends actually fly all over the world to buy clothes. They claim that they make their money back because the price difference is so great and they have fun doing it at the same time. Some people like to buy one piece that is expensive rather than buy several cheaper alternatives. They say that it saves them money because they are able to wear it for longer periods of time and end up saving money that way. Moving to a warmer climate can also help you save money on clothes because there are just less seasons to deal with. Warmer climate also tends to mean less layers, further reducing your expenses. The biggest gripe about shopping online is that you can’t actually try on the product. That’s why companies are having incredibly good return policies so you can just order, try it on and return it if you don’t like it. About the Author:
Rachel is named bargain shopper of the year because she is able to find tons of savings on clothes. For example, the Overstock coupons she found really gave everyone tons of savings.

If you can stop buying clothes, then you don’t need to read this article but don’t kid yourself because no one can do this realistically. Below are a few suggestions for the rest of us who really want to buy but just want to save some money. If you haven’t been in a discount store, you are missing out. At first, I was hesitate to go in them because I thought they didn’t have anything that I would like but there are actually many high end brands for sale. Many stores have a side division that sells oversupplied inventories and unsold merchandise. Sakes 5th Avenue, Nordstrom all have its own division and prices are really cheap there. Outlet malls are like a dream come true for bargain shoppers. There are tons of stores, many of which offer discount items. Be careful though because some stores sell items at full price, so always double check. Holiday sales like Christmas sales are great but sometimes the after holiday sale is just as good. Usually, the crowd is gone so lineups and fighting are no where to be scene so you can actually enjoy the shopping experience. Ever dreamed of flying to Milan to buy hand bags? There are actually people who do this and they save money too because the hand bags over there are much cheaper. Most people end up wasting more money but some say that they save money by buying more expensive clothes. They claim that the better quality clothing last longer and instead of buying five different dresses, they only need to buy one. Warmer climates actually help you save money. First, you aren’t wearing so many layers so that’s instant savings. Then, summer type clothes are usually cheaper. Third, you are at the beach all the time so it’s always the same clothes. Shopping on the internet used to suck because you can only see a picture but many retailers are giving you very good return policies nowadays. With the new rules, you can just order, try them on and if you like it, keep it. About the Author:
