I spend my time writing about mens gifts and mens gift ideas. I get asked a lot about “what gift do I buy for the man who has everything”. He has lots of money so anything he wants he buys. Now of course there’s lots of men with enough money to buy whatever they want, and when birthday time or Christmas time comes he’s got it all. Men like this don’t drop hints about what they would like because if they want it they buy it. Whatever he wants he’s got. Now of course there’s always men who buy whatever they want up to a certain cost. But over that they can’t afford it. So if your man is like that you need to find out what it is he wants and see if YOU can afford it, often if he can’t you can’t either. But if there are things he wants that he can’t quite afford he will probably drop hints. But for a moment lets assume that he’s got all he wants. There’s his birthday coming up, or maybe it’s Christmas coming up, and you really want to get him a hot gift anyway. Something he’ll love even if he’s got everything. Here’s 7 ideas for gifts for him. He may love all of them, he may love none of them, but I doubt it. There’ll be at least one gift for him there that he’ll love. I have seen lots of lists of favorite gifts for men and there is one common gift theme. Lingerie is always up there. And there is wonderful lingerie available for women of any size, so girls it’s no excuse to say that you’re a little large. If your man loves you large he’ll love you large and looking great in some sexy lingerie. 2. Buy him an adventure gift. Not all men love adventure, but most do. And believe it or not there are companies that cater directly to that with all sorts of adventure. Things that a man with a death wish will love right down to subtle adventure like a romantic spa for 2 at a beautiful remote location. So would your man love to try white water rafting? How about parachute jumping? Or maybe he’d love to try a Zero-G ride like the astronauts do? Perhaps drive a supercar or a tank? There’s so many different options. 3. An eco holiday. There is a growing worldwide movement to charity and volunteer and ecological work and travel. Rather than just buy him a holiday in Europe, which is a little ho hum, why not buy him some volunteer travel with a difference. There are lots of companies which offer adventure travel with a twist, volunteer work that helps out those less fortunate than ourselves, both people and animals and the environment. Maybe he’d love being on a research vessel in the waters of Mexico counting turtles or in the African wild measuring animal distribution. There’s a whole host of exotic destinations with all sorts of voluntary activities involved. It’s exciting, it’s fun, it’s very different. It’s adventurous. It isn’t cheap, but it’s a wonderful holiday and one he won’t forget for a long time. 4. Chinese art. I love Chinese art, I have a stack of it at home, but then I lived in China for while. Yixing teapots for example are wonderful and very different. Not expensive but unlike anything that he’s probably seen before. Chinese art makes any house look great. And Chinese art isn’t expensive at all, and compared to the equivalent in Western art is extremely cheap. 5. An elephant painting. Another one for the man who likes his art. Painted by a real Asian elephant on paper which is made from elephant dung. Now before you wonder if I’ve gone mad check it out. The elephants really do the painting, I have a video of it on my website. And believe it or not they paint recognizable objects. The paintings look great, are extremely inexpensive, and would make a great artwork to hang near the table to stimulate some evening conversation with his friends. 6. Then of course there really is the man who has it all, and wants for nothing. Why not buy him a whale. Of course it’s hard to transport and wrap a whale, so that’s not quite how it works. You find an organization like the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin trust which identifies and tracks real individual whales in the ocean. And you can name his own whale or dolphin just for him, so he knows that he has his own whale out there. And the money goes to help protect the whales, and it’s a unique mens gift idea too. I spend a large part of my day looking for great mens gift ideas and so I know exactly what it’s like. It’s not easy coming up with great ideas for a gift for your favorite man. There’s no doubt that it can be difficult to buy for men. They may have everything they want, or they may really not care that much for birthdays or Christmas. All true perhaps, but there’s still no doubt that for most men a really great gift idea will set his juices going regardless. He’ll still love a great gift no matter what he tells you. Know what his interests are and you’ve got the right place to start looking for a unique gift idea that really will appeal to him. There’s nothing new to that. And of course if you know your man well you already know his interests well.
