Most people have heard about stories pertaining to events that may or may not happen on December 21st 2012. It is actually a myth that people believe the Mayans predict the end of the world is coming, they actually state that it is the end of one cycle and the beginning of the next. This new era is called the Golden Age, and it is in this time that the human civilization is transformed from one of fear to one of great enlightenment. The Mayan prophecies state that their culture was the fifth in a line of human civilizations with each being more advanced than the previous one in the form of consciousness.
