I want to take a few minutes and discuss the one issue that almost nobody confronts with any degree of honesty - the fact that you really don’t like your job. In fact, like the vast majority of people around the world, you know full well that you loathe your job, and the irritation of constantly being under the thumb of an oppressive supervisor. What would you say if I were to assure you that there is an easy way for you to leave all of that behind and become your own boss? It’s not as difficult or fanciful as it sounds - all that you need to do to make it happen is to learn how to buy and sell internet websites. Within a short period of time you can begin to earn a good living.

Of course, I’m fully aware that you’re having some serious doubts about the whole idea, and wondering how on Earth anyone can really make money with this business model. Well, rest assured that it is more than just a pipe dream! The internet has grown to encompass more and more of our everyday lives, and website realtors are a reality whose time has come. Best of all, you need but a fraction of the startup costs of a brick and mortar business - just enough to purchase your initial website.

So you are asking yourself how exactly do I get started in this and start making the money that I deserve to be making? For starters there is the basic need of buying a website in which you can flip and make money off of the finished product. Now there are two ways upon which you will be able to obtain a website that you will be able to flip and make it ready to resell to another person. The first is to build a site of your own. This where you will take a site and build it from scratch. You are in charge of everything in the design of the website, and in the end all you had to pay was a small fee in order to host your site. The other way to acquire your site will be to go and buy your next domain. This will depending on the type of site will cost you a little more than you would pay for a site that you build yourself.

OK now you are in the saddle as you have decided as to what your niche will be and you have found a site that is all about dancing poodles, you have shown interest with the site owner that you want to buy the site. Wait though before you go and just drop your money on this site you will need to know somethings about this little spot of internet heaven that the site is taking up. You will need to know what is it’s SEO potential and it’s page rank on sites as Google and Yahoo. If the site is a dud then you will not want to buy a site that has not received and probably will not receive any real traffic. The whole purpose of this site is to have a site that will sow to future buyers that it has earning potential.

You will need to ask the site owner for some documentation that shows how much traffic the site has seen in the past. If this information is not able to be obtained then you will want to just do a keyword search for the site on Google. See where it comes up on the site as far as page rank is concerned. If the person does give you documentation as to the traffic make sure that it is legitimate info and not just what they want you to see in order to buy the site.

Now you have bought the site and you now own it outright. Now comes the time to design the site in a way that will make it pleasing to a potential buyer. Now I know you are sitting there and saying that you have no knowledge when it comes to programming and site design. That’s ok you don’t need to remember all the code in the world to have a good looking site. All you need is a little imagination and the desire to take your ideas and apply them to your site. There are several ways that you can design a great looking website and not have to be web savvy in order to make it happen.

Now we have acquired a name, designed a site now comes for the cherry on the sundae finding a host that you can host your site on. This is the easiest step out there as there are several upon several hosting companies out there that offer hosting plans that fit every need and every budget. Everything from free hosting, to moderately priced hosting. In my personal opinion I would go with a hosting company that offers you a good deal on hosting with the option to have several sites hosted at once, after all this is your new found career. If you are going to do this then you will need and want to do it the right way otherwise you will wind up failing and end up with that dead end job that you hate or even one that is worse in the long run.
