A skin boil should be treated as soon as possible to avoid infection and prevent it from spreading. Because once it’s infected, antibiotics will most like be needed for treatment. There are several natural treatments for boils that are you can try at home. However, before attempting to treat it yourself, make sure it’s not already infected. If so, it will need to be lanced by a qualified physician. Most people don’t know what a boil is. While it looks like a big red pimple, a boil is really a skin abscess that is filled with highly infectious bacteria called Staphylococcus Aureus. This is why it’s so important to treat it quickly in order to prevent the infection from spreading. Click here to see Pictures of Boils. Home Remedies For Skin Boils For years people have used garlic and onion compress successfully to treat boils. To make this compress: Use a juicer or garlic presser to extract the juice from 1-3 cloves of garlic. Apply this juice to the head (only) of the boil and cover the boil loosely with a band-Aid. Check the boil frequently until it starts to soften and can be easily removed with a wash cloth and warm water. Be careful as the garlic can burn the skin….so it’s important to only apply it to the head of the boil and check it often. If it begins to burn, remove the band-Aid and rinse well. You can also do this with an onion. Add a few drops of juice from an onion onto the head (only) of the boil. Keep covered and check often until it softens. For even faster results, you can combine the onion and garlic juice together and apply to the boil. Ground up turmeric powder is also helpful when treating boils. Simply add a small amount of water to the turmeric powder and blend until you have a paste. Apply this paste to the whole boil and surrounding area and cover with a band-aid. Leave this paste on until the boil becomes soft and can be easily removed with a wash cloth and warm water. As a research advisor for over 25 years I’ve done a lot of research on the home treatment of boils and I’m always looking for the most natural, safe, and effective treatments. Fortunately, I recently came across a homeopathic spray (that sprayed under the tongue) that disinfects and prevents the infection from spreading. It also helps to speed healing. Best of all it so much easier to use and less messy than typical boil creams and lotions….If the home treatment listed above work, consider visiting my site Wrinkle Free Skin Tips for more information on this simple effective boil treatment. Some people have reported significant improvements in little over 24 hours. Looking to find the best deasl on Natural Boil Treaments then visit Natural Boil Treaments and see how they can help you. |

Treating pimples is hard enough, but finding acne sensitive skin treatment can be downright difficult. Finding help for acne sensitive skin is important for both your physical and emotional well being. This type of acne is often difficult to deal with because it and can lead to scarred, red, flaky, dried out skin. Unfortunately there is no one simple acne cure treatment for Acne Sensitive Skin, unlike for whiteheads and blackheads. In fact, those with severe cases often times need to see a doctor or dermatologist for severe acne treatment. Causes of Acne: In order to combat acne it helps to understand what is happening. Where whiteheads come to the surface of the skin, the pustule of acne cysts hide underneath the skin’s outer layers. This usually happens when glands overproduce oil until the gland bursts. Once the pores are blocked, irritated and scars have formed, it’s too late for superficial acne remover products - as these cannot help. Many people resort to antibiotics for acne or other prescription medication. Natural Cure for Acne: Treating acne requires patience. People with sensitive skin should not try to squeeze the cyst or pustules because it can cause scaring. Rather, it’s more effective to find a good skin cleanser that kills bacteria and supports healing. This will not prevent the acne, but it will help supplement your skins ability to recover and healing. In addition to practicing good hygiene, many people seek out natural remedies for acne such as taking the mineral zinc. Other people have had good results taking vitamin b5 for acne. Studies show that these homemade acne treatments might be helpful in reducing oil production and promoting healthy skin. However, if your acne is due to a genetic predisposition or hormonal imbalances, these natural remedies may not be enough. Does Aspirin Help or Hurt Rosacea?

Is it possible that a simple small baby aspirin taken daily can help reduce rosacea inflammation and flushing? According to Dr. Bikowski, a small baby aspirin (81 mg) daily could be your first line of defense for reducing rosacea symptoms. He based his suggestion on a recent study published in the Dermatology Times, that suggests there may be connection between baby aspirin (81 mg) and reduce rosacea swelling and flushing. Dr. Bikowski did his own informal study where he gave his rosacea patients a baby aspirin daily. He found that his patients reported fewer incidents of flushing and redness. He feels that if aspirin therapy is safe for the heart and colon, then why not the skin too. In addition, aspirin is pretty safe, inexpensive, and can be taken with most other drugs without any problems. Please Note: If you’re not sure if aspirin is safe for you or you are taking any medications, please check with your doctor before trying aspirin therapy for rosacea. Dr Linda Sy suggests taking a baby aspirin along with antihistamines such as a 4 mg chlortimenton at bedtime. Then take a B complex that contains 50 mg of B-6 and 1 Tagament during the day time. Tagament helps block H2 receptors. Foods To Eat For Rosacea In addition to aspirin therapy, consider avoiding the following lists of foods because they are either high in niacin or histamines or tend to trigger rosacea flare-ups. These foods include: -Cheese If you do consume these foods, try taking an antihistamine about two hours before to help counter the effects of the histamine. Or taking aspirin which can help reduce the effects of the niacin contained in these foods. Click here to read more on Diet For Rosacea. Best Moisturizer For Dry Itchy Skin Rash
Friday, November 6th, 2009| Scentsy | Flameless Candles | Wickless Candles |
If you’re looking for the best moisturizer for dry itchy skin rash, then you need to make sure it’s free from chemicals, additives, preservatives, and cheap mineral oils. That’s what you would usually find in those inexpensive, drug-store type moisturizers. Why should you avoid these ingredients? Because these additives and oils can upset the natural pH balance of your skin. For healthy skin, the pH should be within the range of 4.2 to 6.5. A pH outside this range will upset the acid mantel. The acid mantel is very important to protect the skin from environmental factors like bacteria and skin diseases like eczema and psoriasis. Why do we need a moisturizer? Well, in addition to keeping the skin hydrated, a good moisturizer can prevent dry skin conditions from getting worse and turning into psoriasis or an infected dry itchy skin rash. If you have itchy dry skin or rash problems, it’s important to start taking care of your skin right away and begin using a good quality moisturizer before matters get worse. A great way to moisturize your skin is to use natural homemade dry skin recipes. My favorite home remedy skin moisturizer is a honey and egg yolk mask. It’s feels soothing and hydrating and you’re skin will look great. Here is how you make it: - mix 2 egg yolks then slowly add 1 tablespoon of honey and mix well. Other great homemade dry skin recipes include applying olive oil all over your face and neck right after washing it or taking a shower. It’s best to do this at night because it’s a little messy. So what about the daytime? Obviously, you can’t walk around with egg yolk and honey or olive oil on you face during the day. For very dry skin I recommend a moisturizer that provides continuous hydration. I use one that’s water-proof and rub-proof. My favorite moisturizer has a potent delivery system so it penetrates the skin deeply for optimum results. It uses a lyphazome technology which is excellent for hydrating dry parched skin. Lyphazomes tiny natural nanospheres which are only 1/50th the size of human skin cells, so they can penetrate the skin and deliver the active ingredients deep into the skin layers, where it is most effective. Finally, your moisturizer should be concentrated delivering at least 80% of the bioactive ingredients. Does your current moisturizer do this? If not, Click Here To read about new state-of-the-art moisturizer that has been used in hospitals for burn victims for over 20 years. It not only moisturizers, but heals and nourishes the skin too. Best Face Moisturizer - Moisturizer Reviews

Healthy skin normally has a pH that ranges from 4.2 to 6.5, however, using the wrong skin care products can destroy a healthy pH. A pH balance higher or lower than this can upset the acid mantle which is the protective skin barrier. The acid mantel protects the skin from environmental elements like bacteria, wind, dehydration, etc. The main reason we use moisturizers is to keep water in the skin and keep it hydrated. Some manufactures claim that their moisturizer will eliminate fine lines and wrinkles however; these claims are somewhat deceptive and are based on the fact that people think there is a connection between dry skin and wrinkle Why is it important to use a good effective moisturizer? You need to to feed and nourish the skin, keeping it soft, plump, and supple and to prevent a dry skin condition from progressing to eczema, psoriasis or worse an infected skin rash. Face moisturizers can make the skin look better and healthier - which is why it’s important to use one especially formulated for your skin type. Start taking care of your skin now - don’t wait - until it’s too late- It’s important to be proactive so you’ll have healthier skin later. So what type of moisturizer should you use for health, plump skin? Well, first it should provide continuous hydration. What good is a moisturizer, if it rubs off, wears off, or washes of easily? Therefore it should be water-proof. Second, it should also have a potent delivery system so it penetrates the skin for optimum results. A lyphazome delivery technology is best. Lyphazome are natural nanospheres, and are only 1/50th the size of human skin cells, so they are able to penetrate the epidermis, delivering ingredients deep into the skin, where they are most effective. And finally, a great moisturizer should be highly concentrated allowing at least 80 percent of bioactive- and moisture-loaded ingredients to heal the skin. To be really effective, a good moisturizer should provide 75 times the concentration found in other encapsulation products. We have found an excellent dry skin solutions that is the leader in the field of nanotechnology, with patents on its all natural nanosphere delivery system in over twenty countries worldwide. Our sunscreens and therapeutic lotions have remained popular with physicians, hospitals, and professional caregivers for over fourteen years. Potent and pure, our Lyphazome technology penetrates skin for sustained delivery and rapid results. Most people dont know this, but many of the active ingredients in anti-aging creams and other skin care products remains on top of your skin and only a small amount is partially absorbed. So how do you ensure that your skin absorbs the maximum nutrition from your expensive anti-aging creams for optimum benefits? Use the Derma Roller first, then apply your favorite cream. The Derma Roller is a small device that can be used at home. It has 192 surgical steel micro-needles which are able to gently open the pores of the epidermis (top layer of skin) without damaging it. After about 50-60 minutes the pores start to close up again, but during that time your skin is much better able to fully absorb and benefit from your expensive anti aging serum or creams. The best part is that the Derma roller helps encourage own bodys natural collagen production in the skin without causing damage to the skin the way chemical and laser peels do. Here is how: The micro needles push the pores open, which causes the body perceive that some damage has been done, to the skin - however, there is no damage to the skin. This causes the body to attempt to heal itself by producing collagen. This production will continue to heal until the treatment is stopped. This means that so long as the derma roller treatment is performed regularly, your skin will heal itself to a cosmetic level. Imagine building collagen even as you age? Skin needling has a lot of other beneficial effects including: * Hair loss reduction * Anti Aging-Anti Wrinkle * Acne Scar Removal * Stretch Mark Removal * Hyper Pigmentation Treatment Click here to read more: Derma Roller ” Wrinkle Free Skin Tips About the Author:

Stretch Mark Remover Treatment. Effective Stretch Mark Remedies.
Tuesday, September 15th, 2009| Scentsy | Flameless Candles | Wickless Candles |
If you have stretch marks, there is no question as to why you would seek a stretch mark remedy. Seeing stretch marks on your body can affects your self esteem, which is why most people seek the best stretch mark cream or stretch mark treatments available. What Causes Stretch Marks? Stretch marks happen when skin tissue tears and the dermis breaks down. At first the skin looks sort of purplish, but overtime it turns silver and may get wider and longer. Unfortunately, cover up makeup does not help much. This is one of the most common skin changes during pregnancy. The reason for stretch marks can vary. Women often get them due to hormonal changes (like pregnancy). Men and women can also get them from too much weight gain and excessive weight loss. Others still may find that gaining or loosing muscle causes stretch marks. Effects of Stretch Marks? Stretch marks are harmless except when it comes to self-esteem. This is especially true for someone who has worked hard to lose weight and get in shape only to discover a visual reminder left behind - stretch marks, and no stretch mark remedy in sight. How discouraging! Is There an Effective Stretch Mark Remover Remedy? Most people are overwhelmed by the number of stretch mark creams and other treatments on the market today. Some old fashion treatments include cocoa butter, vitamin E, or lemon juice. While these may not work too well for many people, they do look appealing when compared to the cost (over $1,000 for one session!) laser surgery stretch mark removal treatments. Stretch Mark Treatment: Natural Options? The editors of this web site found an effective stretch mark remover product, called the Skin Roller. This hand held device contains 192 micropoints and can be used by anyone, even pregnant women. This cost effective device is better than commercial creams and safer and than laser surgery. The Derma Roller can also be used to lighten up wrinkles, cellulite, and scars by encouraging the production of collage. Plus, it is safe and FDA approved. As a health advisor, L.M. Common Rashes - Types of Skin Rashes
Thursday, September 3rd, 2009| Scentsy | Flameless Candles | Wickless Candles |
Just thinking of rashes can make you feel itchy all over. The word rash covers a lot of territory. Common rashes alter the feel and look of your skin. Some appear on small areas and others cover the entire body. The causes of skin rashes are nearly as diversified as the type of skin rashes. A person can get a viral rash, bacterial rash, a fungus rash, sun poisoning rash, sweat rash, or one even a stress rash. Looking at pictures of skin rashes might give you a basic rash diagnosis. However, many rashes behave alike so getting a medical skin rash diagnosis and treatment protocol is always a good idea. Common Types Of Rashes: The most common rashes are Atopic dermatitis which is a type of eczema rash. This type of rash usually starts out in childhood. The symptoms of Atopic dermatitis are scaly skin and dry patches on the legs, arms, and chest. A second very common rash is contact dermatitis. Basically your skin comes in contact with something that irritates it or to which you have an allergy. Poison ivy rash is one example. Two other types of rashes that are scaly in nature are psoriasis and pityriasis rosea. Psoriasis is often times genetically linked and can appear as a leg rash, elbow rash and on the knees. Internal Rash Aid: If you experience any type of common rashes such as prickly heat rash, fungal rash, or HIV rash then you might consider using a natural supplement to cleanse the skin from the inside. Ive been recommending a natural herbal/biochemical tissue salt combination product. These homeopathic tablets are taken internally to boost the immune system and hydrate the skin keeping it healthy. And its much cleaner that messy lotions, potions, or creams. Linda Robison has been a health advisor for over 25 years with experience in skin aging and skin disorders. Internal Rash Aid: If you experience any type of common rashes such as prickly heat rash, fungal rash, or HIV rash then you might consider using a natural supplement to cleanse the skin from the inside. Ive been recommending a natural herbal/biochemical tissue salt combination product. These tablets help ease rashes because the combination encourages hydration in the skin, improved oxygen absorption, and removal of dead skin. What is the Right Treatment For Cellulite?
Thursday, August 13th, 2009| Scentsy | Flameless Candles | Wickless Candles |

It goes beyond saying that cellulite treatment has its enigmas attached. With your ritualistic 9-5 compensation, hundreds of products spread the red carpet, promising changes with no sweat. Women you want impeccable skin, have a list of options that envelops creams, lotions, devices and exercise programs. Both women and men will admit that they have some cellulite ‘infected’ area that is not there preferred spot. Cellulite causes an uneven distribution of the skin’s fat, resulting in bumpy contours on hips, thighs, buttocks and belly. Other areas that can be affected are the face, neck, arms, upper legs and knees. The main factors that contribute towards cellulite are: age, physical condition, hormones, genetic predisposition and excess fat in the diet. A breaking in the fibrous tissues that are responsible for securing the fatty layer is the main cause of cellulite. The gaps in the fibrous layer are then filled with hardened bulgy fat. It can be a stubborn condition and it is too easy to lose faith in finding the right treatment, because so many options are available. Basically, treatment for cellulite takes two forms: those that provide a temporary visual change by plumping up the skin around the cellulite and making it less noticeable; and those that offer more lasting change from the inside out. Visual treatment includes creams and lotions. Applied to the skin, these may promote increased circulation. Poor circulation contributes to cellulite by reducing the bodys ability to clear out excess fat and other products from the fatty cell layer under the skin. The better the circulation, the better the body can filter out these unwanted byproducts of digestion. Some creams also help to plump up the outside skin layer. This creates the impression of a smooth skin surface and disguises the lumpiness associated with cellulite. Both cellulite massagers plus creams and lotions provide the same visual effect in treating cellulite. The intention behind the treatment is to aid the body in removing cellulite cells by softening the cellulite cells. This process is further improved with the use of natural and chemical products along with enzymes. The products that are added to the massage process play a vital function is helping to rid the body of toxins and other substances that contribute to the difficulty associated with cellulite treatment. Surgical procedures, such as liposuction are more extreme measures in dealing with cellulite. With Liposuction, the connective tissue is permanently broken down and as a result of this fat is released that is later sucked away by special type of equipment. The risks of surgery that this procedure involves is not eliminated, and may cause bruising and possible extended recovery time. Fewer side effects can be experienced if changes are made in the basic procedure to make it less effective, but even with the changes, liposuction is not the ideal alternative treatment for cellulite.
