You may be scared of reporting the abusive incident, fearing that your husband or partner will find out and increase his brutality. However, there is hope. Help is available to a victim of abuse and there are agencies that will specifically cater to your emotional and legal needs. All you have to do is ask. It is likely to happen again so it is best to figure out what you have to do to survive. Call 911 or your local police. If you are a victim of abuse, do not let yourself suffer. The minute your partner put a fist on your face, report it. The police already know what to do for this type of abuse. If you think your abuser has cut off all the communications at home, HAVEN may be able to provide you with a cell phone that is programmed to only call 911. You need to consider the following: (1) If you are in danger when the police come, they can protect you. (2) They can help you and your children leave your home safely. (3) They can arrest your abuser when they have enough proof that you have been abused. (4) They can arrest your abuser if a personal protection order (PPO) has been violated. (5) When the police come, tell them everything the abuser did that made you call. (6) If you have been hit, tell the police where. Tell them how many times it happened. Show them any marks left on your body. Marks may take time to show up. If you see a mark after the police leave, call the police to take pictures of the marks. They may be used in court. (7) If your abuser has broken any property, show the police. (8) The police can give you information on domestic violence programs and shelters. (9) The police must make a report saying what happened to you. Police reports can be used in court if your abuser is charged with a crime. (10) Get the officers names, badge numbers, and the report number in case you need a copy of the report. (11) A police report can be used to help you get a PPO. Tell your family, friends and colleagues about your abusive relationship. It may be awkward and embarrassing at first, but you must realize that you are the victim here. Get support from them. They are the people who can provide shelter for you. Most importantly, staying close with relatives is the best way to do after leaving your abuser. It’s understandable not wanting to leave the home that you built, but not the abuse. If your home is not a safe place to stay anymore for you and your children, find somewhere else where you can be and feel safe. You can ask help from different city or state offering immediate shelters for victims of abuse, HAVEN can put you in touch with them. Keep in mind, if you are a victim of abuse, your safety is important. If you are a victim of abuse and have been physically hurt, get medical help, go to the hospital or your doctor. Domestic violence advocates (people to help you such as social services) may be called to the hospital. They are there to give you support and access to government agencies. You may ask medical staff to call one for you. Medical records are important in grating you a PPO. These records will show all the important information about your injuries. You must also inform those who you feel safe to know about who your abuser is. Here are the special medical concerns you should note: (1) Sometimes you may not even know you are hurt. (2) What seems like a small injury could be a big one. (3) If you are pregnant and you were hit in your stomach, tell the doctor. Many abusers hurt unborn children. (4) A victim of abuse can be in danger of closed head injuries. This is because their abusers often hit them in the head. If any of these things happen after a hit to the head, get medical care right away. (5) Memory loss. (6) Dizziness. (7) Problems with eyesight. (8) Throwing-up. (9) Headache that will not go away. Get a personal protection order (PPO). Protect yourself from being hit, threatened, harassed, or stalked by your abuser. If you are a victim of abuse, make a safety plan. When i watch some of T.W. Jacksons videos I was surprised. I thought that T.W. Jackson provided a lot of support to everyone. I thought that maybe his book is not a scam since he seemed like he was really trying to help people out. I emailed T.W. Jackson to see if he would reply and he did. In his reply he told me that the book can help me get my ex back. He also said I had up to 8 weeks to get my money back. I was starting to get convinced that The Magic Of Making Up was not a scam. The Magic Of Making Up comes with three books. The books are called Mind Magic, The Clean Slate Method, and How To Boost Your Metabolism. All of the books help you get your ex back. Has anyone been able to find anything bad about The Magic Of Making Up? I have looked everywhere and i can not find anything negative about this book. I also checked the Bette Business Bureau and i could not find any negative reviews. The more i think about The Magic Of Making Up the more i think it is not a scam. All the techniques in the book are supposed to help you get your ex back. T.W. Jackson says that if you apply everything in the book you can get your ex back. I did read all the reviews on The Magic Of Making Up. All the reviews were saying The Magic Of Making Up is not a scam.
